At the heart of the truck is a replacement 235ci inline-six engine installed during the restoration. Enhanced with dual carburetors, Fenton headers, an aftermarket camshaft, and Wayne valve and side covers, the engine delivers a distinctive sound and improved performance while maintaining its vintage character. The carburetors were replaced in 2022, further contributing to the truck’s excellent running condition. Power is delivered through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a 3.55:1 rear axle, both rebuilt during the restoration.
